Martin, whose intellectual property law practice includes both general advice and litigation, advises clients on a range of issues, including the registration and protection of trademarks and copyrights, trade secrets, privacy and publicity rights, unfair competition, and domain name disputes. He is experienced in drafting software, trademark, copyright and other IP license agreements, and he has litigated IP matters before federal and state courts, the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board (TTAB), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

• Obtained dismissal with prejudice for clothing company in opposition proceeding before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filed by major retailer (2007-2008)
• Successfully prosecuted trademark and trade dress infringement suit against mainland tour company filed in the USDC (2008)
• Obtained settlement for national toy company charged with multiple claims of copyright and trademark infringement  (2009-2010)
• Successfully defended and prosecuted counterclaims against clothing manufacturer for trademark infringement (2009-2010)
• Successfully defended furniture manufacturer in Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) Complaint filed before the World Intellectual Property Organization (Case No. D2007-1215) (2007)
