Stephen concentrates his practice in commercial, construction, and civil rights litigation, as well as appellate practice.
Prior to joining AHFI, Stephen served as a Counterintelligence Special Agent and Human Intelligence Collector in the United States Army. As a member of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), or Night Stalkers, Stephen conducted threat and vulnerability assessments for joint special operation training exercises in Central and South America. Additionally, Stephen deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a member of an Operational Management Team supervising human intelligence activities throughout Regional Command East.
Stephen received his B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia, and his law degree, cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai`i. He received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in Business Reorganization, Constitutional Law, and Family Law.
