CONSTRUCTION

AHFI has a multidisciplinary construction practice which includes the related areas of government (public) contracts and professional liability. The firm provides complete services to construction industry clients, including contractors, owners, developers, suppliers, construction managers, sureties, insurers, lenders, equipment manufacturers, lessors, and design professionals.

In addition to the depth of general trial experience, the practice group has experience preparing, defending and analyzing the full spectrum of construction claims, including: changes; delay, impact and acceleration; labor and inefficiency; defective specifications; differing site conditions; suspension of work; termination for convenience; wrongful termination and termination settlement procedures; and mechanics’ liens. We can also provide assistance with contract document interpretation and issues, drafting and negotiating contracts, certification requirements generally associated with construction projects, and bond actions.
